Removing the flip from the flip cover

I am using a Samsung view flip cover and wanted to know if I can detach the cover so only the battery cover remains

Is it physically possible to do so without actually cutting the cover?

Uh yes...just use the back cover that came with the phone?

I knew that someone was going to offer that stellar advice

I have a black phone and am using the white flip cover. I want to have the white back of the view flip cover.

Anyone know where I can get the back part of a view flip cover?

I like this one because it is Samsung and it fits better in the hand compared to the thin and v plastic original back cover that came with the phone.

However, I am looking for the exact back case that is part of the flip cover.

I have looked on eBay and Amazon and have yet to find the exact thing

hence my question here regarding removing the flip or reaching out to see if anyone had manage to source that particular back cover.
