Renaming APK package?

Alright, so I've been working on finding and installing various widgets, etc. from the Optimus 2X ROM onto the G2x. One app that I REALLY want to install is the music app. I have the APK, but I cannot install it because it is named the same as the default music player. I've looked and looked, but cannot find anything about how to rename the package (com.android.music) using Eclipse. All I want to do is add 'lge' to that package name so that it will install.

You dont need to rename it.

Use root explorer to get into system/app

Move the original Music.apk out of that folder but dont delete it incase something goes wrong and you need to put it back.

Take the Music.apk from the o2x and put it into system/app

Reboot and you should be good. If it force closes just replace it with the original apk.
