Replaced my broken screen and now this;

Something like a white screen of death!
The screen was cracked so I ordered a new one, replaced it, charged it all night and... voil?! It responds to the touch but that's all. Stays white even after reconnecting everything. Holding the buttons for 45 minutes... didn't change a thing.

You replaced that screen yourself?
If so I bet that's why.
Solution 1: get the repair done (better) by an expert.
Solution 2: get another phone.

You sure nothing else got broken inside except the screen. This is almost certanly a harware problem, but not the screen alone.

Experts? Are you kidding me? Like there isnt a thousand techs with their own channel on youtube or whatnot! lol. A tech... sure.

It was only the screen that was cracked since everything else was working just fine. Ordered the correct replacement part, got the tools, while waiting for the screen I browsed a bunch of tutorials (3 weeks of seeing the same sh** over and over again kinda makes you say f-off to a tech...).


There is a way to fix this without going to a freakin' shop, hand it over to someone else or buying another one. That's just an old lazy way of thinking and that's not my way. Sorry!
I'll take it apart again and triple check everything while waiting for some USEFUL tips and tricks... (To the person who told me to get another phone... clearly didnt even check where was this thread posted or what the device it was...)
