Replacement Battery $14.99

I just called Verizon because I think my battery cover got warped from over heating not that my phone was at the LAVA stage....but, about 2 weeks ago my case wouldn't fit tightly on my phone.....I know because as many times as I have done a battery pull I was always able to snap it back on. But, after my phone heated up a little too much (no damage), my cover would snap in ok, but it would hit my Volume Up/Down buttons making them stick...as soon as I pried the case a little, it was all good.

Before anyone asks....after the cover was off...the Volume buttons work PERFECTLY.

So I called customer service and talked to Peggy....cool lady. Told her my problem and she said they can send me out a new battery....heard her fumbling a little and said "$14.99 + tax, free shipping". I tried to work her for a Rezound battery (which she didn't know what the Rezound was.....LOLOLOL), but, I figured the battery + the cover for $17 (tax) wasn't bad.

She asked me how I liked my TBolt and what I thought of it. She is an owner of one and said she has had issues....I was about to ask her "Are you rooted?"....LOLOL


So, just wanted to pass on the news. If you are looking for a battery, give them a call and ore. I know the Rezound is $19.99....but, heck, this is a pretty good deal.

Honestly, you should have that she root... I talk to Tech support reps all the time about rooting. Its not illegal, evil, or in any way bad to root... just whatever you can do to brick your phone from it is not covered under warranty.
