Replacement Droid - will it have Froyo update?

My headphone jack is defective and Verizon is sending me a new Droid (they couldn't confirm a refurb D1 or a replacement Droid 2, it depends on the warehouse stock). I'm wondering if it will come with the 2.2 update and if not, can I somehow take it off of the old phone and install it on the new one. Anyone know?

It depends. I had a replacement sent a few weeks ago and it had FRG22D. The replacement they sent a couple days later had 2.1. Both came from the same warehouse.

i just got a replacement last week and it did indeed come loaded with FRG22D
