Replacement phone stuck on FROYO

Hey guys, I just got another replacement Thunderbolt (third so far since launch). I'm happy with the phone, just weird stuff has happened. Anyway, I'm setting up the new one and noticed that it has 2.2.1. I tried to search for a new software to install Gingerbread and it says nothing available. I don't root my phone or anything like that, just wondering how I can update it the normal way. Any help? Thanks.

HEY!!! I am on my 2nd Thunderbolt. My first one just out of the blue stopped having 3G , 1x or anything else. My 2nd one, did same thing. So they exchanged my sim card & I got my data signal back. I noticed, however, it was acting like froyo. Sure enough, I checked & it is indeed android version 2.2.1. When I checked for an update, none is available! Please please if you get an answer, can you email me at the yahoo addy.... tracywills03.... (I'm brand new to this forum so it won't let me post my email lol) HELP!! I'm at my wits end!! Thank you!

Apparently the update was pulled, but it will be back hopefully in the next week or so.
