My Optimus V no longer works and VM will be sending me a replacement phone. I have rooted and flashed Harmonia on the phone. Would someone please point me to the directions to restore my phone to stock so I can send it back.
Thanks in advance

Well of it won't turn on, there isn't a problem, is there? They won't know...

Edit: this post makes no sense. What do you mean when you say "It no longer works"? If it no longer works, why would you need to return it to stock?

Tapatalkin it from my IHO CM7.2'd, MIUI Themed Optimus V

OK, I wasn't clear with my original post. People can't hear me when I call them. I informed VM and they will send me a replacement phone. I had harmona 2.05 and I flashed the recovery. Now I have the original rom but it's rooted. In order to send the phone back, I have tro unroot. I have read a number of (what I think) are contradictory instructions.
1. How best to unroot? I rooted with gingerbreak
2. When and should I "reset"?

I've already move a little to the left :)

Gingerbreak does have an unroot option. I see you've already flashed the stock rom but you also need to flash the stock recovery if you haven't. You need to do this before you unroot the device. Once you have stock rom AND stock recovery you can unroot with gingerbreak and then you can do a factory reset on it from privacy menu. Just make sure recovery took else when you do factory reset you will be stuck in a boot loop.

Ok, I checked my recovery. I have "Human Organs Recovery V 4.0.1.4.3" Obviously not the stock recovery. Where can I get the stock recovery? How do you suggest I flash it?

You can search for instructions on restoring the optimus v to stock. Kinda tricky cause most instructions are for the optimus v with the old screen and if you try it on the new optimus with new screen you'll get black screen.

I can tell you how I restored mine but it's not without risk. Like anything it could brick your phone but worked good for me.

Download Flash Image Gui and put it on your sdcard and use file manager to install it.

Get this recovery VM670NH_recovery.img and place it on your sdcard and use flash image gui to flash it

Get the new update from virgin mobiles site http://www.virginmobileusa.com/resources/update.zip and put it on root of sd sdcard

Boot into recovery, go to mounts and storage and format everything except sdcard, go back and go to advanced and format dalvik. Go back and select install zip from sdcard, choose zip from sdcard, select update.zip and flash. Once it's done select reboot and you should be completly back to stock.

Like I said worked fine on my phone but there's always the risk of bricking.

If everything flashes ok back to stock, make sure you still have the original problem, so you don't look like a fool when you send it back. :p
