Hey guys,

I just received my replacement phone for the touch screen issues (that affects all S6's apparently) and this new one won't upgrade to 5.1.1

I'm not rooted, I literally turned on the phone and set it up. Then after set up, I tried updating it and no go.

Any tips and tricks to get this going?

Android Version: 5.0.2
Baseband: G925TUVU1AOCG

If you really want to update, and I'm assuming it's a T-Mobile edge, you can always download the firmware from here and flash it with Odin.

According to some flashing this roms is not even doing the factory reset so you will be doing like an OTA update, but always do a full backup before just in case. Also, after the update remember to wipe cache partition in Recovery mode.

I had the same problem with my replacement, Samsung Kies3 desktop software with update it:)
