Replies to spoofed texts get delivered to 0hone that sent it or no

I got a sms text lastnite showing it was sent my mr friend he says he didnt send it from his phone. Need to know if any replys to the spoofed texts by me would b delieverd to my friends phone. Or to the 3rd party phone it was sent from

To the phone number on the SMS, which would be your friend's phone. Texts go like phone calls - if you called your friend's phone, where would the call go? To his phone.
