Report: 1.4 million AT&T iPhone...

1.4 Million, eh? So then why don't they get an Android? Surely there are atleast a couple Androids as good as the iPhone.

However, at (roughly) 90 million subscribers, the worst part of that would be the data package impact. Which I'm sure would be offset by the fact that the network would be less burdened and encourage others to pick up a phone with a data package.

Yeah well that would prob just create more monopolistic conditions for verizon and although they would have a huge influx of customers and revenue, they would eventually just get more greedy and tack on other random fees...

I say let em keep the ichode and make the market more competitive and let android evolve at a faster rate and eventually consume it...

Definitely are Android models as good as the iPhone.

Apparently, the data burden is one of the reasons the iPhone isn't on Verizon now (according to one of the retail guys). I have no complaints with Verizon as a carrier minus how awful the people have been in the retail store. So I definitely don't want 1.4 million people potentially JOINING Verizon. Stay with AT&T and your iPhone.

The iDiots are a lot like Cubs fans, tho'. There's just no reasoning with them...they're committed to that phone.

And Android users aren't?

Everyone is committed to their phone. That's why they bought that damn thing.

Except for me, I'm a phone slut. I have a Vibrant, iPhone 3GS and a Palm Pre Plus. All have their strengths and weaknesses.
