Yeah. So I'm probably over and out. Great thread, hopefully people will now know (I didn't for the longest time) that the m8 now can use QC 2.0, and there's a slew of chargers out there. Plug in your phone for dinner and it'll be ready to go for another 5 hours. Pretty cool stuff

So, I'm getting a bug when using the charger with my M8 post GPE conversion. It charges up, and at some point, the battery meter gets stuck on a certain number. In this morning's case, 80%. It won't go past 80% while it's charging, and once taken off, it won't go down as the battery is used. Doing a restart after unplugging resolves it, and the meter starts to work, this morning showing it had actually charged well past 80%.

This isn't a GSAM thing. The stock meter says the same thing.

Thoughts?

Bump. How do I deal with this? Do I need to drain my battery dead then charge it to 100% with this new charger to recalibrate it?

Then will I have problems with regular chargers?

Yeah, charge battery as high as it'll go, install battery calibration from the play store, drain battery until it's completely dead, charge again and profit
