Smart Notice just told me I had a pdf download file, did I want to get rid? It was a Republic Wireless pdf. Yes I said, delete it. I've never downloaded any such file. How the hell did it get there? What's going on? A pdf file can't get into your phone unbidden, can it? (Puzzled, UK.)

Perhaps you inadvertently tapped on a download link in the browser, if you were looking something up about Republic Wireless? Or maybe it was on some general tech site.

You are probably right. I was assuming it was recent but if it was a very long time ago....with my memory, that would be a few weeks ago or more....that would explain. The name IS vaguely familiar, too....

I have an exceedingly dim recollection of Canada coming into it somewhere, too. I do find that I keep forgetting recent things. That's bad enough, but something else I've noticed of late that's even more worrying is that I keep forgetting recent things.
