So earlier this week I rooted my phone and gave CM7 RC1 then CM7 Nightly #11 a try but it didn't work out so well due to some wifi issues and poor battery life. Afraid that I was going to go over my monthly 3G limit I unrooted and returned to stock using the instructions in this forum (I tried loading a nandroid backup, but the backup froze on the boot screen). Now I've found a ROM that I think is going to work for me (Ruby 2.0.2) so I want to go back and reroot my phone so I can flash it. It is possible to reroot after returning to stock, right? If I installed the Hboot drivers the last time do I have to install them again or can I go right ahead and stat Unrevoked? Is there anything else special I have to know or do or is the process the same as last time?

Boot into HBOOT, if it's .92 your good. Then run Unrevoked like last time.

Happy Flashing!

Thanks. It says HBOOT-0 .920000. So I should be good to go then? I don't have to reinstall the drivers? (again, sorry for the noobish question. I'm still new to all of this.)

i thought it actually said "S-off" in the HBOOT?

im pretty sure when you go to stock you have to reroot your phone but you dont have to unlock it again.

The latest Unrevoked for the DInc will do S-Off automatically with the root. No need to run Unrevoked Forever with the most current version.
