My Posh Micro X s240 will not boot. When I press the power button, the Posh logo comes up but nothing else happens. I can get into the recovery menu by pressing Up Volume and Power simultaneously, which gets me to the Android lying on his back and the recovery menu. According to several websites, such as http://www.hard-reset.com/posh-mobile-micro-x-s240-hard-reset.html, one of the options on the recovery menu should be "wipe data/Factory Reset" but that option is not in my memo.
The problem is exactly the same as experienced by Triggergunn in his post at
http://www.tomsguide.com/forum/id-3350027/posh-fashing.html. The solution offered in the only reply, by webworkings, does not help. Just as was the case for Triggergunn, the only options in my menu are "reboot, update from a, or update from s."
A short video showing the problem is at: https://youtu.be/38FYbKGewuk
Any ideas how to do a factory reset or otherwise get the phone working again? The Posh runs on Android 4.
Thanks,
Bill
