I think I need to reset my phone. Is there anyway to save or send my text messages somewhere so I can retrieve them?

You can back them up using Smart Switch on your PC then restore them once your phone is ready.

Also SMS Backup+ is another option. It syncs to your gmail account and keeps a log there and has the ability to restore. If you can use a native solution like Smart Switch its always the better option. However, we love to provide options here!

Just a side note... most 3rd party apps due to Samsung's restrictions cannot back up MMS properly. The ones I've used before that do back them up can only restore them with either screwed up timestamps or lumped into single conversations.

I have had good sucess with MyBackupPro app.
Been using it for years.
I back up Contacts, Call logs, SMS, MMS.
