Resetting the phone?

If the phone freezes up, how do you reset it? I haven't been able to find that information anywhere. Thanks.

You can just power it down and up again. Unlike blackberry when you turn off the power it actually shuts down.

I tried that yesterday when the phone became unresponsive, it didn't work...the entire interface just quit responding to touch, that's why I was wondering if there was some sort of button combo that would do a hard reset.

I had the same problem last night. I was using it and all of a sudden it froze and I couldnt do anything. I pressed the home button a few times to no avail so i just pulled the battery. It's been working fine.

If all else fails, batt pull

batt. pull should get you back running but if you want a full reset goto settings- privacy-restore factory settings....it will wipe the phone back to factory then you will have to set the phone up again.
