Resizing Pics for Droid Gallery

Looking for some guidance. I know the screen resolution of the Droid screen for making wallpapers and I've made a few for myself.

What I'm looking to do now is go through my photo collection and crop/resize some pics of my family to carry in the photo gallery.

Any suggestions on the best dimensions to crop and save pictures to so that they show up best on the Droid gallery screen?

I notice that pictures I've taken with the Droid camera don't fill up the screen when viewed in the gallery, though that appears to be due to the ratio that the camera captures at vs. the droid screen ratio.

Did some experimenting with a couple of pictures. Cropped them using a 120x213.5 ratio. (480x854 screen size divided by 4 - my version of Photoshop won't let me specify greater than 416 in the cropping ratio box).

Then, scaling down the image to the 480x854 screen resolution before saving them is giving me perfectly formatted pictures to place on the SD card to view in the gallery.
