Responding to "thank you"

[Android Central Question]

I live in Canada and fit the stereotype of being polite. I say "thank you" after the Google home does what I ask of it.
BUT occasionally she will go on this big rant about how Canadians are so polite. Or she will start going on about how she scored a goal in the hockey net and then play "hockey noises" (sorry I don't give a hoot aboot hockey, or hearing about how polite I am)
How do I make this this stop? I don't need a 20 second long audio routine with goal sirens every time I set a reminder.

Welcome to Android Central! That's quite hilarious, but I can see how that would get annoying after a while. It looks like others have looked for a way to turn off the "Pretty Please" feature, but so far the only way I've found is to turn off Voice Match (which, if you're the only person to talk to your Google Home, would be reasonable to do, but not if your whole family uses it). https://www.reddit.com/r/googlehome/comments/a520se/how_do_i_make_it_stop_pretty_please/

My gripe is with "Consider it done." When I was working, I'm now retired, I had people who would say, "Consider it done, Chief." They hardly ever did what I'd asked and if they did they screwed it up.

Maybe there could be a "sullen teenager" setting where it responds with a "Whateverrrr," and the lights on the unit somehow do an eyeroll.

I can top that. I had a boss who would respond by email: "consider it done" but he would spell it: considerate done
