Restore App Data for Specific App from a Google Account Backup?

I recently upgraded to a new device. When moving in, I used my main Google account that has my device backup. It did successfully restore my apps and data for most of them, but one of them I realized I made a mistake. I can elaborate if needed, but the data restored relies on external data Google won't have and is incomplete so I need to redo it. Is there a way I can initialize a data backup for that one specific app (or any) from my Google account instead of having to factory reset the whole device and doing it all at once again?

What device are you using and app in question?
If it's a Google pixel you won't be able to bring back up individually only from factory reset

Of course. It's a Pixel 8 Pro, the app is BlackPlayer EX. I made the mistake of not exporting my playlists. The restore does bring them back, but weather it's a bug or by design, if you add a playlist but the file(s) are missing the playlist removes the entry. Rebuilding them would be very tedious.

I plan on installing GraphineOS so I'll have to factory reset anyways but I am unable to for now.

Yeah Google's back up is not that great, I have a pixel 8 pro and Samsung , with Samsung you can restore at any point individually with PC Smart switch back up or Samsung account.

If one thing I would love Google to improve on this , I'll put this in the pixel 8 forum see if any members there can help out

I would like to request to have this thread closed. I ended up just recovering to my previous device over resetting my current one then extracting the data I needed from there.
