AC Question
I've wanted to back up my home screen, more specifically my home screen bookmarks on the external memory, so if my device suddenly dies, I can get them back. So I used an app called MyBackup.
It said the backup was successfull and I've decided to try and restore those files to "test it" (after messing up with the bookmarks so they don't look identical). The app did its thing, said it will overwrite my new home screen with the old one and advised me to restart so I did just that. But after restarting it just wiped out my home screen without restoring my previously saved bookmarks (I have them backed up by the app)
Now I am stuck here with an archived backup file that doesn't seem to work. It seems like no other backup program can see it and MyBackup just says to restart and nothing happens, I must be doing something wrong.
