Hi All,

Please bear with me...

I did my first factory reset today.
Beforehand, I carefully followed instructions on how to back up EVERYTHING to my Google and Google+ accts
I performed the reset, added my google acct, my android (samsung galaxy 6 mega) said that it connected the acct, but I virtually have none of the backed up stuff on my android. No music, no apps, ONLY 28 OUT OF 200 CONTACTS. The Calendar is synced, but that's about all I see.

I'm up sh^t's creek without a paddle.

I desperately need help. It's a business phone.

Sincerely,
Tutor

If you go to http://contacts.google.com and sign in with your account, do you see all your contacts there?

App DATA unfortunately doesn't sync with Google (unless the app supports cloud saves). Yes, it keeps a list of apps you've installed and helps re-install the same apps upon reset, but the data, if saved to the device, is lost unless backed up with a different method (Google is, after all, cloud-centric).

I only see 2 contacts on that link, but 28 were restored.

I'm not sure what cloud centric means,; but if Google doesn't have my contact's (after I followed the instructions to the letter),; then I'm just at a loss for words

I mean it took forever to backup my texts, so they had to go somewhere

How did you back them up? If you only see two contacts on the Contacts page, those are the only ones actually synced to Google. The other contacts might have been stored in your SIM Card or, depending on how you did your backup, on that specific service.
