retry error

[AC Question]

When I open my google play it is just saying retry over and over i have looked at most of the suggestions and none have worked on my tablet???? If someone could help it would be much appreciated as I have only just got my tablet and im unable to use the app that i wanted to download ?

Ensure the network you're connected to is having no issues. After that go to settings, application manager, and clear the cache / data for the Google Play Store app to see if that helps.

well it didnt work when i cleared my cache but when i go onto settings and the onto my google account settings it is saying that there is a syncing problem but i have no idea what that means ?

Welcome as a new member.

The syncing problem is quite common, and if you open by touching the account name you will see a list of the apps that are synced. You can force-sync manually, or leave the syncing to occur in its own time, which it normally will. You can even turn off syncing for individual apps, although there is normally no need to.

Are you using a SIM in the tablet? If so, consider the possibility that it's bad....unlikely, but possible.
If you're using Wifi, that won't apply.

As Almeuit says it could just be a network problem.
