Return from custom rom

I should have been more clear, videos I recorded with the viperrez camera were almost inaudible, but the volume on videos recorded with the stock camera sounded fine on the viperrez player.

Give it a try, hopefully it works well for you.

I will check it out, thanks for the heads up. If I may ask what rom are you running now?

Back on stock rooted. Tried viperrez, business sense, pacman, neomax and one other that I can't remember. They all had something or nuther that didn't work, and I have no patience for bugs. I do like sense 4,but I can't tolerate less than 100% functionality.

Try EclipticRez v8. Not 8.1 but v8. Been running it with the stock kernel since Monday and have had zero problems. It's buttery smooth and fully functional.

Just out of curiosity, which features didn't work in ViperRez and Nils' ROMs that you were looking for?

Thanks, I'll give that one a try. I looked into it last week, but couldn't find the download link over at Xda.

I had the low volume issue for both. I like to take short vids of my 2 year old, and not being able to hear the audio was a deal breaker. Other than that, both were pretty solid.

Strange, I've never had that problem. Was the audio recorded low or is it just that the replay from the phones speaker is too. If you replay it from a computer is the volume still too low? I ask because there's an app called volume + that does just what you think...at the risk of your speakers internal guts.

Never tried on a different device, but I suspect it was the recorded volume since all my old videos sounded fine on both those roms.
