Hey, I was wondering if Verizon allowed you to return a phone within a certain amount of time since you bought it like AT&T and T-Mobile do. For example, say I signed a 2 year contract with them but didn't like the phone. Could I return it, pay the restocking fee and get another?

Ok that answers my question. If I were to buy another phone after returning the other one would I be able to buy a subsidized phone or pay full retail?

If you return the original phone within 14 days, then your upgrade would be reset and you can get another subsidized phone. If you return after 14 days, then your upgrade would not be reset. Verizon has a 14 day return policy, but some third party may have longer. Costco has a 90 day return and exchange policy, however, whoever you buy it from, your contract would be locked after 14 days.

Well that's a vastly different phone. We're talking almost 2 years in phone technology!

Not to mention, you can get the one in gold (real gold, not fake gold)
