Return to Touchwiz

I rooted my s3 (sph-l710) a while ago and have been using cm10. While I like it, I don't love it. (I know I know...). I have been considering returning to stock touchwiz (via sammobile). My question: Is it possible to get Touchwiz Nature UX 2.0 like on the S4? Specifically the swipe down toggle settings? I really miss those toggle settings for some odd reason.
Thoughts? Questions?

I'm not sure what the "swipe down toggle settings" are. There are a number of custom TW-based ROMS that will let you customize the toggles that are displayed, if that's what you mean.

Take a look at MOAR and Wicked Sensations. I use MOAR and find it very smooth and stable, with an incredible amount of customization available:

MOAR: [ROM] [MOAR] [MD4] Smooth / Modded / Maddness / Sick / v5.01 [06.17.13] - xda-developers

Wicked: [ROM][MD4] ヅ Wicked Sensations Rom v4.2✭AnaKonda Theme✭Twisted Pink Theme✭eREDicate - xda-developers

Which version of CM 10 were you running? 10.0, I think, is based on 4.1.2, and 10.1 is based on 4.2.2. How you change to a TW-based ROM depends on whether you're coming from 4.1.2 or 4.2.2. If coming from 4.2.2, you'll need to revert to stock via Odin, then re-root, and then flash a new ROM. If you're coming from 4.1.2 or earlier, you should be able to just wipe cache, wipe dalvik, factory reset, and flash the new ROM.

I run Wicked Sensations and like MOAR, it has a ton of customization. It is fast, responsive and very stable. Both ROMs have strong support from the devs and others that run the ROMs.

sent from my GS3 running Wicked

Thanks for the information about MOAR. Looks interesting... I'm running CM 10.1. Is it possible for me to just flash 10.0 so I don't have to go the whole revert to stock, re-root, then a new rom?
The swipe down toggles on touchwiz, with wifi, mobile data, driving mode, multi screen, etc. are what I'm talking about.

I think that you'll have problems if you do this, but since I've never tried it I not really sure. It's easy enough to try. Make a nandroid of your current setup, then wipe cache, dalvik and factory reset, and flash 10.0. If everything seems to work fine, then do the same thing and flash your new ROM. Worst case, if things don't work right, all you've lost is a bit of time.

MOAR will give you those. I'm pretty sure Wicked Sensations will, too.

I was on WS then went to CM 10.1. I liked it, but liked the WS better esp after the eredicate theme. So I ran my back up. The only issue I had was that the 4.2.2 file sturcture remained ... this places the emulated folder named 0 on the internal sdcard. Just copy everything out of the 0 folder to the root folder and it should be fine (backup first). This is what I did and I do not appear to be having any major problems.
I can say, I really like the WS ROM with the eredicate theme.

So I should be able to do the same thing with MOAR if I move the 0 folder?

Honestly, I just restored the Nandroid I made of the wicked sensations set up i was on before flashing the CM 10.1. I did not read enough prior to flashing the CM 10.1 to realize it would change the file structure. A few days after restoring the backup, I had my phone plugged into the computer and noticed the change in files with the infamous "0" folder. Everything ran just fine ... what really bothered me is that I was missing ~2gb of internal space. It seemed that the 0 folder contained copies of everything in the root of the internal storage. Another unusual thing is that there were copies of my apks in the download folder on the root and inside the 0 folder. I asked in the XDA forums and was told the 0 folder is emulated based on the 4.2.2 file system. I made back ups of the 0 folder (placed it on my desk top) and root (on desk top). I then copied everything out of the 0 folder to the root overwriting what it asked. and then deleted the 0 folder. I have not had a problem since.
