Verizon took my DINC2 back after I was able to show that one of the VZW service reps DINC2, and the demo model on the floor do the same thing mine was doing. Running 2.3 (Stock), when you are on the phone with a bluetooth headset, if you receive a text message - it will cause the BT to no longer hear the call (or send your voice) - even though it shows as still being connected.
Only way to get it back on BT is to swtich to speaker or phone on the device, and switch back. This is a bug that Verizon and HTC must not know about, and it is something that was tested with 3 different headsets and three different phones.
If you are inside your 14 day window, you may want to return it. If you are not inside the 14 day window, you may want to see about getting a replacement.
