sadly, i returned the infuse because of the Proximity Sensor. :'(

Main Question: Do any manufactures place the proximity sensor on the 'right' side (when looking at the screen) of the phone? Can the sensitivity be adjusted?

frequently, calls would Mute or End when i was moving around doing things.

i loved how the phones back is textured and sculpted to place the phone between shoulder and ear while talking.

NO, i don't want/don't like/don't use BT except with integrated car BT.

just looking for a phone with the proximity sensor on the 'right' side. i also, hope the 'social media' folks read this and consider incorporation of sensitivity adjustment of the prox sensor buy the end user.

The Inspire's proximity sensor is on the right (when the device faces you). There isn't a way, natively, to adjust its sensitivity. Though, conceivably, there might be a way to accomplish this if you're rooted (I'm not aware of anything like this).

You can also use Widgetlocker, which is a replacement lockscreen (it's definitely worth the two bucks). It gives you the ability to lock the screen while you're on a call, preventing any accidental presses. It has many more options and can be themed to look like any lockscreen imaginable.
