Today I received my Combo case and screen protector from Amzer. The case (actually cases) consist of a rubberized hard case and a leather pouch. Instead of pics, I will post a link to the item.
Amzer? Rubberized Black Snap On Case & Leather Pouch Combo For HTC EVO 4G
First, the hard case:
Look/Feel
The Amzer rubberized hard case looks great. It is matte black, and extends the feel of the Evo's rubberized back to the whole phone. It adds a lip around the entire front of the phone, so when you place it face down the screen does not touch anything. All of the buttons on the face of the phone are accessible.
The cutouts for buttons/ports are exact, and the back recesses the camera so it doesn't touch when you put the phone on its back.
Installation was a snap (literally). The case snaps on at the corners and sides. It feels like it will offer some protection in case of a drop. There is no flimsy feel anywhere.
The pouch:
Look/Feel
The pouch is a little odd. It is not the pouch in the picture above. Instead they sent this one:
Wanda Smartphone Horizontal Case
but with THIS back instead of the one on the case linked above.
Westham Smartphone Horizontal Case
I actually like this one better; I doubt I would have used the belt loops anyway. Moving on - the case is leather, with the accents shown. Stitching is acceptable, although it could be better. That's not to say it's bad, its not. The belt clip is leather wrapped metal, with a metal band on the bottom. The clip rotates and clicks approx. every 15 degrees. Very solid. The magnetic clasp closes securely. My only issue is I wish it (the case) was a little tighter.
Overall, I would give this setup a 8.8/10
