I'm not going to say one thing about the camera...because the camera was not a major factor in my decision to purchase, and the camera is pretty much all anyone talks about. You don't need my take. I have the S20+, 512 GB, Cobalt Black.
I came home to my phone Friday evening, so I haven't had a full day with it. It's a keeper, and I'm glad I decided to get it - although I don't see myself upgrading in a year, like I usually do. I love the size, the feel...the display is absolutely beautiful, as is with Samsung flagships. It's a tad taller and skinnier than my S10+, and that's probably why it feels better in my hands.
It charges super fast, and I'm going to see what type of battery drain I get with the 120 hz refresh. The fingerprint scanner is WAAAAY better than the one on my S10+, and that was something I wanted to check out immediately, because folks were crying about it before it even left the gate. I expected a much better fingerprint unlock experience, and Samsung delivered. Matter of fact, registering my fingerprints was quick and easy, and I didn't have to press hard.
Over the weekend, I'll get to test the call quality. If I'm this happy day one, I'm expecting only greater joy with software updates....and I hope they don't mess up the fingerprint scanner. Side note: If you want a clear case that looks good, has a nice lip and side edge protection (great side edge protection is hard to come by), and is "grippy", check out the Poetic Affinity. The first generation was a favorite of mine for my S9+, and the new one is just...awesome. I have about 6 or 7 clear cases now, and the Affinity is the first case I chose for my new baby. I have the Galaxy Active 2 watch, and the Buds+, which are better than the first generation.
