Reviewers are receiving their Moto Z's

Seriously. I assume the phone will be released by Verizon in July. Why the hold up on letting the public know the exact date of release?

This is wishful thinking but maybe they are waiting on daydream certification and will slap some stickers on the box if they get it.

Not gonna lie, I had no interest in this phone when it was announced. That being said, after hearing some very positive first impressions, I am definitely interested now. This whole Verizon exclusivity is a killer though. Really hurting any chance that the phone has for success.

Yeah, but it's pushing the phone back to compete with the Note 7, iPhone 7, and new Nexus devices. Not a smart move imo.

Agree. Moto should have taken a page from 1+ and announced it and released it right away. Moto will see exclusives hurt, just ask HTC about carrier exclusives, and you will see why they are in the shape they are in now. Risky move going against the note 7 and iPhone.

A little web search gave me this. When you click on the link it has been pulled. Think it's safe to say they leaked it and weren't supposed to

Droid-life (who was at the event) responded to this in the comment section of one of their stories by saying roughly 'I don't know what some people don't understand about blackout periods'. Not an endorsement of the validity of the mashable post, but not a disendorsement (I made that word up I think).

Think we will see the blackout end this Thursday along with an announcement that they are available for preorder to ship the following Thursday.
