I used this the other day to root a coworkers phone and it worked like a champ. To save data is very nice with this root method.

What tweaks did you do!?!?!?

I've followed most of the recommendations for improving your battery here in the forums, but when I rooted, I also installed SetCPU and set my max CPU to half when the screen is off. I think I did a few other tweaks with SetCPU too. Battery life has definitely improved. Could also be getting rid of all the bloat!

going on 29 hours with a single charge. granted I was on wifi most of yesterday but this is still awesome! I wish I had rooted months ago.

No I didn't have to use that.

If you turn notifications on, it will tell you when your profile changes.

FINALLY, I got root! I think I tried the ABD auto root 25 times and could never get it to work. Then I tried Revolutionary with no luck. But THEN I tried Revolutionary following the YouTube video and VOILA!!!

I'm really happy right now!

Rooted over the weekend. Easiest thing I've ever done. Now I just need to figure out which ROM to try.
