Rezound battery fits the ThunderBolt for $19.99

Just got my Rezound battery this weekend. I can't believe what a noticeable difference it has made.

For example, I unplug my phone every morning when I wake up. I take the train to work and usually stream music and check twitter/emails/messages/etc during the commute. On a normal day, I'd usually get to the office with about 82% battery. It was almost uncanny how it would be at the exact same battery level pretty much every day. This morning, same routine, I get to work, and my battery is at 93%.

After the first full charge I wiped my battery stats and let it drain all the way down to ~5% before recharging. That took 28 hours, and that's with fairly normal use too -- never was able to get close to that out of my previous standard battery.

The only minor drawback I've noticed so far is that it does take longer to RE-charge (duh!), but other than that, I'm very happy so far.!

the accuracy of the battery won't be the same as stock. For example, on my extended battery, i've seen it go from 40% to 0 in less than 10 minutes. This is in a strenuous situation, so not normal in the least, and the 1620 is much closer to the 1450 stock, but just something to keep in mind. Also, if you had your phone for a while, then the original battery's capacity would slowly reduce after some time.

I plugged my phone in this AM after 1 day and 21 hours of light use with 31% still left. This battery is behaving a lot better than the original, and while i understand that the older battery might have lost some capacity, i don't think it would have lost this much. Normally i get 12-16 hours of light use.

Off charger at 6:30 this morning. Used for an hot as mp3 player. Used to Christmas shop at lunch. Phone call on half hour drive home. Still at 36% as of 10:30 pm. Loving it.

Fed ex left a note on my door that they can't leave package unless they have my signature. Damn. Thought I would be charging tonight. Will hope for tomorrow :(

There is a spot for you to sign the note. Its in the middle. So if your not home tomorrow they will just leave it and take the sticky part off with your signature on it

I also jumped on this but despite all the tricks still paid $29 for the battery. I wasn't too frustrated as I was going to buy an extra battery (non-extended) anyway. I put it in at 42% and drained it yesterday. Charged last night. More to come on performance.

Precisely why I did a full charge and wiped battery stats, then allowed the phone to drain all the way down.

Sent my girl to the VZW store to buy 2 of these for our Tbolts. The moron at the store told her the battery was too small and wouldn't fit. He talked her into getting the extended battery instead. Needless to say we will be going back to VZW today LOL

Haven't had any accuracy issues with either of the two 1620mAh batteries (received them last week), nor ever had issues either with the two 1400mAh and one extended batteries. I always charge them via a Seidio Multi-function battery charger (rarely with the phone itself) and then run them down to approx. 20 percent before swapping out for a fresh battery. So far, I’m consistently getting about 6-8 hours more battery life (approx. 35+ hours total uptime) with these 1620mAh batteries than the 1400mAh ones.

I just ordered 2 individually. I can confirm that in order to get them for $19.99 you cannot be signed in, and you have to purchase one at a time.

I still had that problem even after doing that.

It does take a few cycles for it to be really accurate, allowing the battery stats to reflect real-time usage...but now that I've been running this battery for a few days I can definitely say that I get noticeable bump in battery life, judging strictly from time off the charger until drained.

Ohhhhhh ya. It's red. That means its better, and batt HTC logo is now upside down, which is what makes it last so much longer.

When I originally got my Thunderbolt, I ordered an extra (standard) battery, which was from HTC as well. What was funny is that on the one that came with the my phone, the side with the HTC logo faced out when placed in the phone, and on the other one, it faced in. If nothing else, it made it easier to differentiate the two.

The new red battery definitely makes it stand out!

I noticed today that my temp. got up to 104.3 while playing cut the rope. Rooted, but running stock. Seems a bit hot. Anyone having issues with the Rezound battery running warmer than the stock Tbolt battery? Phone has been idle for around 40 minutes now: 83.3 degrees.

Oh ya, I forgot to add that it shipped in a box big enough for basketball shoes, and was starting to get irritated about Rediculous overpackaging, then it dawned on me that with all that extra power, it needed that huge box to hold it all in.
