Rezound issues I haven't seen anyone mention yet ! Confused

Hey ! Ok so I got my rezound about two months ago.. after searching online I haven't come across any complaints for this particular issue.. while browsing the internet lately my keyboard has just stopped working, it will show up but won't type (especially on fb) . I have to reload the page like six times before it will type again. Also, even though my settings are set on ' mobile view' the screen goes nuts and automatically scrolls to the bottom of the page, even if I go to scroll up it just flicks back to the bottom so it gets almost impossible to refresh the page or get to the top to enter a url , and will lag on, or won't rotate during this. Sorry for the long post .. anyone know what's up?

I had that happen to me on gingerbread and the only fix was a reboot. On ICS it never happened

Every Rezound will get it eventually in an OTA update, he is running a leaked version of it (as am I).

I would flash the leaked ICS RUU & see if that fixes it. If not, I would pester VZW for a replacement.

Going by the non-working keyboard and the screen scrolling by itself I would suspect a bad digitizer on your screen - it might be detecting "phantom fingers" on the screen. Do you have a case that is touching the edges of the screen? Do you hold it with your fingers touching the edge? If not and a reboot doesn't fix it then I would take it to Verizon for a replacement.

No the case doesn't touch, and phantom fingers is a perfect way to describe the issue im having, lol you guys are way more helpful than Verizon

I got my Rezound as a refurbed unit to replace my Thunderbolt. So I don't have an issue calling and having them send me a "like new" one again. I refuse to have a defective phone of any manner.

I have a refurbished one and mine just started doing the keyboard thing, but mostly, if not always on Facebook when I try to comment on something. The cursor just gets like bold and bar moves a tiny bit then comes back down. I've noticed it only happens on Facebook with dolphin browser, not the Facebook app. But it's very annoying to say the least

And now all my outgoing texts are stuck 'pending' which apparently is a common issue with this phone.. also the screen flashes a bit and says sms 'General problems 'I might call tomorrow this is kinda ridiculous because before this phone I had the original droid. I think I went through five of them before my upgrade because of issues

I have the same exact problem on my Rezound (which is a piece of garbage IMO) where the keyboard won't show up when I tap in a text box on FB. I've tried using a different browser, I installed a different keyboard and it still doesn't work. It doesn't work on 3g/4g or on wifi. And of course Verizon has been of zero help to me. Any chance you have figured out how to fix the problem?
