Call quality isnt as good as my RAZR. Volume seems to drop for unknown reasons. Especially when I use my headphones and trying to talk on the phone.

Reception isnt as good as my RAZR.

Some things about the screen. Like someone mentioned...outdoor viewing isnt too good. Viewing angles too. Viewing angles play a part when outside trying to avoid sunlight. And I prefer the colors/blacks on my RAZR.

Some things about the screen....lol The screen res or no Pentile is nice for when I hold my phone closer than normal. Its white on white screens and not a blue tint like my RAZR. No blue tint when I tilt the phone.....even tho I like my RAZR's viewing angles better.

Camera is very nice.

Removable battery

Feel in hand

Sense UI..... I cant put it in either like or dislike. Some things I like, some things I dont. Like some of the eye candy....dont like that it seems to be a bit too much in some areas.

One thing about Sense UI or HTC phones and iPhones....they have things in the Settings area that seem out of place. Looking for battery chart on my Rezound had me scratching my head. Looking for Blue Tooth settings did the same thing on my kids mother iPhone 4.

Granted my call quality and reception issues might be a bad phone or sim card. Its just wild that out of all the phones I had...Moto phones I had never had to be exchanged for call and reception issues. I will say that before updates it did have better data reception than my RAZR. After RAZR updates...not anymore. And my Rezound keeps getting stuck in 1x in weak areas needing a reboot to fix it. Give me better call quality and reception, fix my 1x issue and I would have it charged up right now and probably using it instead of in the process of taking it back to Verizon. At one point I was using both...now I just use my RAZR.

I cant really judge the battery life....but I do now its better than expected.

Yea I have opposite results between my Razr and Rezound. You might have an issue with your rezound. I do wish I had the less glare and viewing angles of my Razr on the Rezound screen.

I might say you are having issues with your RAZR if you are talking about reception and call quality...lol.

I will take it back to Verizon and see if phone and/or sim card exchanges makes it better. Either it fixes it or enough complaints put me in a new phone all together.

I will take call quality back. I just have to hold the razr more center over my ear. The wider speaker works better for me. I also use speaker phone alot and the rezound speaker is not as tinny a little fuller. And as far as reception I have had the bionic, razr, and Maxx, not one has had better or worse voice reception than rezound. As far as data the only one I don't have a problem with is the rezound. Don't get me wrong I have no problems with my Maxx , but 4g drops off when my rezound holds on. I have a friend with a Maxx also and it drops same time as my Maxx when we travel for work.

Have had mine 2-3 mos now. Once I got my battery drain issues solved love my Rezound :-) Expect to visit the threads on the battery drain problems. Got me fixed up real good :)

How did you fix that?...I dont like how after its on a full charge and the light is green and then it drains while on the charger after a full charge?..weird!!..

It's a been common occurence on several HTC phones. Your stock battery indicator isn't always being truthful with you. If you want the most complete charge out of your battery, read here;

Oh boy thats a pain in the rear end lol..I appreciate the help thank you...do you think the supposed "ICS" releasing friday will solve this minor bug?..I really do hope so..wish the battery would last an actual "day"...the extended battery is too bulky for me to be honest with ya..no luck!

I know that the ICS kernel fixed my problem with my 3.8v battery not charging properly so I'd assume it's certainly not going to hurt.

P.S. Who started this ICS on 4/6 rumor anyway? Was it an April fools joke gone wrong?

Rumor was born of photo of a very unreliable source, Best Buy document, scored by an employee. I think we usually see several of these before the inevitable occurs.

Every android site has reported it. The first place I saw it was youmobile, then everyone else started in droidlife, phandroid, verge, engadget, the neighbor, baby sitter, my box of wheaties, etc.

Help!?

I'm seeing way worse battery than my tbolt. It's also amazingly warm, near hot. If I pull the battery cover off and feel the battery, it is hot. And I can almost watch the numbers drain on the go widget. :(

Love my Rezound. Running CleanROM 4.2 Pro Ed. with OC @ 1.836 MHz and SD Booster set for 8193. Runs fast, smooth, AND cool. Like others my big complaint is just battery life. If a Moto can improve the Razr battery and maintain a slim profile, it would be nice if HTC would do that for the Rezound. But I love the phone and I'll live with my HTC extended battery.

Runs cool? My stock refurb gets quite warm on the bottom (front and back) using wifi. 4G is a portable Sun. Does urs run cool on 4G? Was it warm on stock rom?

Is the extended battery a hemroid like tbolt?

Thanks!

Screen is AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!
Faster than tbolt.
Camera is MUCH IMPROVED over tbolt.
Clearer speaker.

Dislikes...

Heat.
Battery life.
Quieter speaker.
Edges are curved outward, this putting pressure on a sharp ridge vs flatter tbolt.
Screen viewable area is narrower than tbolt.
Bezel is far too large on top and bottom making it unnecessarily tall.

It's faster than tbolt with a screen that spits in the face of the gnex IMO. For that I will end up keeping it. But it's less comfortable, hotter, and harder to make it through the day than tbolt so it will be replaced as soon as vow gets there version of the One X...which can't happen soon enough!

I'd like to see an HTC One series phone with an extra 1-2mm of thickness all dedicated to more battery. 3000mah and then we'd be talking ultimate phone.

I have had mine for a few days. When it comes to my phones running hot ( between a rezound and t-bolt) I have noticed some similarities.

1.) When streaming music and having the phone in a pocket it got hot which is understandable.

2.) Charging would also make the device warm to hot when running music or videos through it. Again I would consider this normal as you are using current and charging at the same time.

3.) If you are charging on a different charger than originally given can cause.heat issues.

4.) Running multiple apps. The more your phone is doing the harder it works thus the more heat it puts out.

Now I can remember my bb tour getting hot when I would be doing the same things as above. If your phone is getting too hot to touch than you may have a serious issue and should call tech support. If it is happening intermittently check to see what is running.
