Rezound or Razr...that is the question?

Yes, I am sure the gingerbread version is magical and different.

Its an entirely different skin. If you actually used one, you'd know that.

Why did it need to if I can unlock it myself?

Its an example of you being wrong. HTC does not officially support unlocking the bootloader. Their official stance hasn't changed.

Then why are they letting me unlock it? That is like the state saying speeding is illegal, but if you sign a waiver you're allowed to speed. LOL

LOL! If this is "wrong" then I dont wanna be right.

Same reason Nexus devices aren't locked; they want developers to be able to develop for their phones. It isn't meant for consumers, which is why its a part of HTC DEV. Their stance hasn't changed.

Oh, and even with bootloader unlock, your device isn't actually unlocked. Go read up about S-off and you'll understand why.

Winning the semantic argument is obviously very important to you. lol

HTC allows me to unlock my phone legitimately. They did not allow this before, but they do now. Thuh end. I do not care about the semantics as to why they "officially" have not changed their policy, even though their policy obviously changed.
