The rezound's camera is about the same as the RAZR's.
And HTC's official position is that they do not want their bootloaders unlocked, and will defer to the carrier. That hasn't changed.
I have used LOTS of Moto phones and absolutely despise Motoblur. It is far and away the worst of the three Vendor UIs IMO.Also, sense sucks compared to motoblur. It's a giant resource hog.
That has not been my experience. Using it on the Droid 2 was awful. It was ugly and I saw no indication at all that it slowed down stuff less than Sense. There are things I like about Motorola, but their UI is NOT one of them.Even though Motoblur is a full skin, it's much lighter weight and much more resource friendly than sense could ever be.
As an end user, I would rather that they do what *I* ask. I am the one buying the phone after all.Me: HTC is allowing you to unlock the bootloader "legally" on their site (I have done this to mine already, and it does work great). I am now Sense and bloat free, and the phone is even faster (it was already very snappy before). Motorola is unlikely to ever do this...they havebeen assholes when it comes to rooting.
Motorola does what the carriers ask.
LOL, then why is my HTC phone unlocked right now? HTC allowed me to do that. Motorola does not and has no plans to.They have been asked not to allow unlocked boot loaders, so they haven't. Their stance is no different than HTC's.
This will be your last Moto phone then...because they will resist unlocking kicking and screaming. They have as much as said so in the past. This stuff is the reason I dont like Moto anymore. It would not even be an issue if they would give us an unlock option.
I honestly dont know why they have such a bug up their butt about it...maybe rooters are eating into their support services a lot or something. But I would be really shocked to see them do anything like HTC is doing. Hell, I would be shocked even if they adopted Samsung's "Live and let live" policy.
Erm...no it's not. They supply the unlocking method themselves. Hell, they even delivered on their commitment to unlocking bootloaders by the end of 2011.
I know you like Motorola and are trying to defend it, but let's call a spade a spade. Sanjay's "pledge" to unlock by 2011 bit the dust big time.
I tried to tell droid800 about the unlocked bootloader but he wouldn't listen. Lol

Not hardly. Actually, the Rezound has been found to take better pictures than the 4S, which supposedly has the best camera.

Not that I like any of them mind you, but at least Sense is prettier. They are all resource hogs. There is nothing at all special about Motoblur.

If they dont want to, I will go to a company that will. Their control freak bootloader policy was a major factor in my decision to jump to HTC.
LOL, then why is my HTC phone unlocked right now? HTC allowed me to do that. Motorola does not and has no plans to.
Even Samsung at least stays out of the way, even if they dont officially allow you to do it. Motorola actively tries to stop it. They are assholes about it.
Uh huh.Droid800 WroteAnd HTC's official position is that they do not want their bootloaders unlocked, and will defer to the carrier. That hasn't changed.
NewsHTC releases tool to unlock bootloaders on its devices HTC has released a tool to unlock the bootloader in some of its Android devices, the company announced today. According to a posting on HTCDev, HTC will allow the bootloader to be unlocked on every phone it releases going forward, and will also be working backwards to make unlocking tools for phones released prior to September 2011. http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/news/2011/12/htc-has-released-a-tool.ars
Ha. Thats actually amusing. The rezound's quality is worse than the gsII's and the gsII's are worse than the 4s'.

Then explain why HTCs devices remain locked when shipped, with no change in that policy coming any time soon. Their official position is that bootloaders should be locked.

Yes, I am sure the gingerbread version is magical and different. This must have been some time ago, which makes your opinion worthless since you haven't used the gingerbread version.
And you are so polite. lolYou are quite dense, you do realize that?
Why did it need to if I can unlock it myself?Question: did your rezound come with its bootloader unlocked?
Then why are they letting me unlock it? That is like the state saying speeding is illegal, but if you sign a waiver you're allowed to speed. LOLTheir official policy is that bootloaders should be locked.
LOL! If this is "wrong" then I dont wanna be right.Like it or not, HTC is still on the wrong side of bootloader policy, and not even comparable to Samsung or LG.
uh huhHa. Thats actually amusing. The rezound's quality is worse than the gsII's and the gsII's are worse than the 4s'.
uh huh
