#poll Need a new phone, my DX died, RAZR or Rezound until the Nexus comes out? twtpoll.com/1muox2

I just want to see what people think now that they have been available for a few days.

I would say go with rezound. I do not have either, but my og droid is on it's last legs and if no announcement is made by next week I will be going with rezound. The razr felt to thin and super wide in hand.

I know how you feel Premium I've been in that Nexus board with you haha

Im gonna go get a Rezound today hopefully and I have one coming in the mail for my girlfriend today. I'm just hoping I like it

Go with Rezound, you may not give it up. I have had mine for 4 days and thinking less and less about the Nexus.

I was all about the nexus at first but the more and more I am beginning to like the rezound more and more. It is one of the first android phones that has been getting really good reviews across the board. I will wait another week and see if nothing is announced about the nexus may go that route. Plus you can root and run custom roms.

I had never heard about Beats Audio before I began looking at this phone coming out. It seems to be the real deal. I have never had an ipod but I enjoyed having music on my Eris for two years. Now music on my phone is fairly important. I almost feel like I am putting people down listening to this going through the airport. It is that good.

Understandable that you would never have heard of it if you have never had an HP laptop. They are making it out to be a huge deal yes, weather it is or not is still debatable.

Same here. Waiting for nexus but not liking some of the things i'm hearing so far about it. Nexus build quality, lack of sd card, lack of usb mass storage made really hurts. The Rezound screen is awesome, the LTE reception and stability has been reported to be very good (which is very important to me). I'm not a fan of sense, and I will root the second it becomes available. But, so far the Rezound has me VERY interested. Played with it for an hour and was impressed. I still might hold out to review the Nexus personally, but the Rezound is the only other choice for me besides the Nexus. The Razr does not impress me at all.

I'm not sure why so many people are so surprised by the lack of a removable SD card, that has been known since day one, the Nexus S is the same way.

This is my thought exactly.

I'm not necessarily surprised, but a definite show stopper for me. I have quite a few 8-16-32 GB cards that have documents, media etc. and I don't want to have to be copying files on and off the phone. Card switch is the easiest.

I just returned my Razr tonight and was charged a $35 restocking fee.

My question is, after my account resets in about 24-48 hrs I will be eligible for an upgrade again. Can I pickup a Rezound when my account resets and still be able to return (another $35 restocking fee) and exchange for the Nexus?

That I am not sure about honestly. I suspect they will try to prevent that but if returning the second device is into the next billing cycle you might get away with it. I cant see anything in the terms and conditions that specifically prohibit that.

Yes actually.

I was gonna do the buy the rezound, then return it and get the nexus thing, but after a few days of playing with my rezound, there's no way I'm returning this phone!! I didn't even consider the RAZR. After being with a Droid x for the last year, Moto has left a bad taste in my mouth. Particularly blur. Sure it's lighter than sense, but it's just not my cup of tea.

I wanted a Razr at first, until I saw that Moto put out an HD version with 13 megapixels cameras overseas. Why can't we get that in the US? I'm done with them permanently.
I ordered the Rezound yesterday and I'm expecting it today. I saw the screen in person and was pretty much blown away. Can't wait to get this phone!
If you take a second to analyze things in an unbiased way, you'll realize the only things the Nexus has going for it are ICS and little/no bloatware.

I was also a Droid X user. I liked the phone but Motorola is annoying! The bionic and razr were never on my radar. I had decided HTC and was waiting to find one with a 4.3" screen. Then in my research I heard about the nexus but after finding out it did not have a removable SD card I went decided on this phone. If I wanted the lack of ability to expand my memory or switch out SD cards when needed I would have went with iPhone! Lol I am beyond happy with the rezound. I love this phone!!!

You should be able to. If you used an upgrade, they'll just credit the payment back to you and you can get a Rezound

I've lost all interest in the Nexus when I saw that it doesn't support USB mass storage mode as well as it's lack of an SD car slot. Plus I'm not a fan of Samsungs build quality. I just dumped my Thunderbolt for the Rezound because my Thunderbolt has had nothing but issues since day one, yay beta testing phones. But so far it's worth every penny.
