Rezound Standard Battery vs. GNex Standard Battery

I am seriously considering swapping my GNex for the Rezound but I'd like to hear from those of you that have used both -- how is battery life on the Rezound's standard battery compared to GNex's standard battery?

HTC makes crap. Thunderbolt was crap and the Rezound is only slightly better. Both tanks. LTE is going to suck down battery no matter what. I get about 15 hours on my GNex and am happy. Buy an extra battery and call it a day. Buying a Rezound makes no Sense.

That has not been my own experience. Battery life is in line with previous Android devices I have used (Galaxy S, Droid 1, Droid 2). Not great but not awful.

4G sucks battery life in any device that uses it. The Rezound is not an exception. Here is what Android Central had to say on it:

The 1620 mAh lilon battery is the culprit behind the Rezound's girth, and unlike on previous HTC devices, the ends justify the means. I'd be lying if I said that battery life on the Rezound is stellar, but it's so much of an improvement from the first generation of Verizon's LTE devices that it's hard to dislike. You'll easily get through most of the day with a single charge, and with light use you'll make it to the nighttime hours, thanks no doubt to improved standby performance. But if you're tinkering all day at work like you shouldn't be, you're going to need to plug in before the day is up. I'm hesistant to count this against the Rezound, as it seems the status quo with LTE devices right now, but oh how I yearn for a day when I can leave my charger at home. http://www.androidcentral.com/htc-rezound-review#battery
That is in line with my own experience so far.

All this coming from someone with their "Current Device" being the Nexus. Hmm...

Let's put it like this; one of the most popular threads on the GNex board is titled "25% drain in 1 hour?!" and is currently the 2nd most viewed thread on AndroidCentral.
As for the Rezound, there's not many battery complaints. HD screens and 4G are doing to chug battery juice, as you've heard before. However, the Rezound's battery life is respectable and even impressive if you consider that it has the smallest battery out of the current tier of 4G superphones. Expect the Rezound to get you more life than your Nexus, but don't expect it to break the 20 hour mark.

Rezound is the best phone out at this time, and has better battery life than GN. And the new Sense is as smooth as butter.

This sounds good, thanks for the info. My main issues with the GNex hasn't actually been the battery but I was just curious how it compared to the Rezound. The problems I've had relate more to the radio/reception and the speaker and sound quality.

Here's a peek at what I've had so far since permanent root and removal of bloat.

Please note that underneath the graph there are green and blue bars. Blue is battery usage, green is charge. I have put my phone into the car dock and used it to stream music via bluetooth. The app I'm using is the "Battery Left Widget", and I'm on the stock 1640mAh battery.
