Rezound Version 2???

This won't be out, if it is until november. We will get ICS, what phone do you know about that didn't get any updates? Even the CDMA Desire was updated, and that phone was the red headed step child of HTC.

if dl is right, and it is a 5" screen, then it would have a ppi of 418. That is way higher than the retina display of the iPhone which is around 330ppi. Though, i am hoping that it will be a note competitor at say 5.5"

418 on that big of a screen / resolution is amazing. Our current rezound is 342 and is beautiful, I can only imagine what 418 will be like.

On another note, I couldn't help but notice it would ship with ICS 4.0.4. WTF? That high end of a device having to wait 12-18 months to get Jelly Bean?

My concern would be the battery. Would it be removable, and what size. Also, since the resolution is over double that of the rezound, and it is a much bigger screen, i wonder about battery life.

Excellent point. Hopefully they've taken that into account. We'll see. Won't matter much to me, my next new phone is a year away. I like to dream and speculate though.

Well, if anything at Verizon ends up with Jelly Bean in the future, it will be that device. I suppose the Rezound is less likely to see JB, then. Damn.

Looks amazing except for the fact that I will mor than likely be huge. Why won't the manufacturers make a high end phone that is not huge? They have no minds when I comes to gorm factor. Make it a better than 720p 4.3" screen with little to no bezel and thick enough to hold onto and operate with one had. You will corner the market I promise. Too bad no one listens to me though...

The size of the GNex was one of the reasons why I decided to pass on it -- just a bit too big for one-handed operation (for me). I can hardly imagine what this phone would feel like.

When women stop buying Android phones for the smaller iPhones, OEMs will rethink their strategy. ;)
