Ring tones question.....

How can I put a different ringtone for different callers? On my Moto X I was able to put a different tone for people. Is this option available on the 6P & 5X? I haven't figured any way to do it?
Has anyone done it yet? If so can you list the steps for the rest of "us" to follow"?

I have not found a way to do that either. If there is a way it certainly is not obvious.

Choose a contact. In the upper right corner of the contact photo you'll see a star, a pen and 3 vertical dots. Select the pen. Then in the upper right corner you'll see a check mark and 3 vertical dots. Select the dots. A menu will drop down and you'll see an option to set a ringtone.
