How to I get new ring tones without installing sketchy looking apps from Google play?

There's a lot of apps that aren't sketchy at all for new ringtones. Zedge never gave me problems.

i download them from zedge.com and install them via dropbox or something after trying them out on my mac.


i avoid the zedge app because:

1. there are great differences in quality of mp3s - some sound great others.. well not so great.

2. i try to keep ads away from my phone as much as i can.

3. once and if you remove zedge from your phone all the downloads will be removed with it; unless you took the time and trouble to move the downloaded files elsewhere.

I think he just means he doesn't use many/any apps with ads and what not.

You can also use dropbox too. Add the song you want to dropbox, then go into your dropbox on your phone and "Export" it to the SD card. Then just bring it over.

like actual ring tones.. not some music with vocal
