Ringtone Help

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I cannot change my ring tone. Get a screen saying you must have favorites to set up a ringtone. Only favourite buttons are available for ringtones, then a heart underneath. Any ideas would be great fully appreciated.

If you're trying to change your main ringtone for all callers, go to your settings & click "Sounds & Vibration"



Then Find "Ringtone"

I use the Zedge app to find and set ring tones, notifications, etc.

But when I click on ringtone I get this

That looks like a third party app causing that. Did you download a ringtone app?

Nope, everything is the same as my note 4, even less apps on this and nothing new. Puzzling.

Definitely not a Note 8 screen prompt. As stated there has to be a 3rd party app causing the problem.

I set individual ringtones by going into the person's contact and editing otherwise system settings sounds for General ringtone
