Ringtone & Notification Volumes are Muting on their own

I can't seem to find any rhyme or reason for this. Sometimes, particularly when I'm at work, I look at my phone and find that my volume has been turned all the way down for my ringtone and notification sounds. Anyone else getting this? Any thoughts on stopping this?

Oh yeah, mine too.....
For me, I do believe that my big hands keep hitting the Volume Down button..... whatever, it is "dangerous for me" because I can't afford missed calls.

My fix was to use MacroDroid and create a couple of macros that will:

Sense screenlock, turn Ringer Volume to Max


I have other macros that turn the internet off at screenlock and then back on with screen unlock. Great to make the battery last forever.

Had a similar issue when I had a profile app installed. I basically had to go into the app and tweak it so the volume would "lock" itself, so even if I manually changed the volume, it would ALWAYS remain at 60% loudness until I went in and manually unlocked the setting.
That being said, look at any apps you've installed in the recent past.
