Tony,
I think what you're doing is great, everyone benefits. That said, can you do two clips from the song "Come on Eileen" from Dexy's Midnight Runners. One of them starts around 2:13 into the song and the other section about 3:22. Thanks in advance.

I had the song in my collection so here are the two sections.

This is a very clever ringtone! I have never thought of using this before but it's perfect! lol

Thanks for creating the ringtone for me! It's great!

Newbie question: Are custom ringtones available to the phone when it's connected to a PC in 'Disk Drive Mode'? I used that mode to copy your ringtone to the internal memory of my phone but it wouldn't appear in the list of selectable ringtones until I *disconnected* the phone from my PC. When I selected the custom ringtone, re-connected the phone in Disk Drive Mode, and then dialed my phone from a landline, a different ringtone (Default 2) played instead. I experienced the same thing when I copied the ringtone to the mini SD card of my phone. It's as though connecting the phone in Disk Drive Mode makes the storage inaccessible. Is that the normal functionality?

BTW, based on a suggestion in another thread, I created the following directory structures on my phone's internal memory:
  • /media/audio/ringtones
  • /media/audio/notifications
Then I copied the ringtone to this new ringtones directory.

Yeah because it unmounts the card from the phone and mounts it to the computer. So the phone no longer sees what was on the card.

request: Texas Longhorn fight song ! HOOK EM HORNS !

Thank you Ireally appreciate your time in making these for everyone !

I would like a few 24 ringtones (the show).

- The ticking clock
- The theme
- The phone that rings in CTU in the early seasons

Yeah because it unmounts the card from the phone and mounts it to the computer. So the phone no longer sees what was on the card.

But I copied the ringtone to the phone's *internal* storage--not to the card. So then why was the ringtone inaccessible?

FWIW, when I connect the phone in Disk Drive Mode, Windows prompts me to open a drive representing the card *and* prompts me to open a drive representing the internal storage. Are both the card *and* the internal storage unmounted? If so, that would explain why the custom ringtone didn't appear in the list of selectable ringtones; but then why do the default ringtones still appear in the list? If the default ringtones are stored on the internal storage (as I suspect they are), then they shouldn't be accessible, either. So I must be misunderstanding something.
