Ringtone silent but notification sounds on?

Is it possible with a Samsung Galaxy S9+ to have your ringtone on vibrate but with all other sounds on? As whenever I turn my ringtone to vibrate the same happens with notifications and I can't turn on the notification sounds until I turn ringtone sound on also, and I can't have ringtone sounds on but have the volume off as that immediately turns notification sounds off too.
