Ringtones changing to default

Every single day my ringtones for contacts revert to default and I dont know why.
This is driving me nuts! I feel like I have that pos htc thunderbolt all over again.
Can any one please help?

I don't know your particular circumstances, but if your ringtones are on your SD card and you reboot your device, many times the SD card doesn't mount in time for the ringtones to be set.

For that reason, I moved my ringtones and notifications to /system.
I no longer have that problem.

Just did transfer in astro hope that fixed it lol.
