Ringtones not working?

NOT sure if this is related to the 2.2 update or not, so I am going to post it here as well:

I hadn't recieved any texts/calls last night, so this morning my first text message played a song from a file I had in a music folder in my SD card.

The ringtone was the NEXT song in that folder.

I switched them manually - but it didn't work, stilled played those songs.

So I deleted those songs, NOW I have no ringtones. I can SEE them, hear them while setting them, and then set them, but I CANNOT hear them when someone calls/texts!

Any ideas?

My ringtone works now, but not my texttone. No matter what.

I have the opposite problem lol.
My notification ringtones work but my call ringtones and alarm ringtones dont.
