ringtones

I have just bought this new phone and am hoping some one can help me please.

I want to assign different(funny) ringtones to different people.
but do not know how to go about this?

That's very simple. Tapping the People icon opens your contacts. Choose the contact and then scroll down in the window that opens. You should see an option for ringtone. It is set for default but if you click the option you can change it to whatever you choose. You'd have to do it for every contact that you want to give a custom ringtone to.
