Ringtones

I have loaded some ringtones onto my storage card. Thunderbolt found them with no difficulty, and I configured some of my contacts with different ringtones.
However, when I configured a general ringtone for the phone, it seems to override the individual ringtones that I have established for my contacts. I thought that, if a contact had an specific ringtone, it would override the general phone ringtone when a contact called.

Any suggestions?

I have a custom general ringtone and individual contact ringtones and they all work as expected. Not sure what your problem is.

Thanks. It's not a huge deal. I just wondered if there was something simple that I had overlooked.

This is a known issue with this phone. Using the HTC Music app to create and assign the ringtone seems to help some.

There are also third party apps on the market to help set ringtones. See if any of those might work better.

Place your ringtones in /system/media/audio/ringtones. Then set it again using that copy.
