I've been looking for the note 5 at multiple rogers stores to purchase outright and finally found one that sells it for $950 CAD. Most of them wouldn't sell it for another few weeks cause its their policy to sell it to new customers first who wants to sign a contract.. But is this the correct price? Another rogers was selling it for $1000 and they said every store has their own price.. I thought the actual price was $850.

That sounds very steep to me, but not sure what normal prices in Canada should be...

That looks a bit high, but I'm not in Canada, I'm in USA so I can't say for sure.
Just for comparison, my GS6 Edge 64GB was $919 taxes included.

Are these corporate stores or third party retailer?

They are corporate stores. Rogers wireless. To me it seems like they are overcharging you for outright price so you would rather sign up for subsidized price and get locked into their contract. On rogers website it even shows $359.99 for 2 year contract and save $490 which equals up to be $850 for the full price.
Some rogers store said i need to wait 90 days and some said a month after the release date to outright purchase it. Nothing is consistent in these stores.

Can you buy from the website?

wow that is steep I got it unlocked from expansys for 729.00 it has all the north american GSM and LTE bands can't you go that route vs paying almost 1000 from the carrier..

The website only allows me to upgrade not outright purchase. I'm gonna try calling them again and see why their store price is different than the online price.
